Great EHS Gathering Rièzes 2025
June 14, ESC member Un lieu de vie pour EHS organised a lively and cheerful gathering in Rièzes, Belgium at the border of France. About 130 people from Belgium, France and other neighbouring countries attended the event and enjoyed a day in an EMF free surrounding. Many already arrived on the Friday before.
Several suppliers* were invited to present themselves and their merchandise. Good shielding, measurement and reduction of EMF levels require quality equipment and material.
Being able to experience, see, touch and try in real life is a must to make the right choices when buying products. For EHS people, this is often impossible, but in Guy Lerat's white zone, everyone could try out and get explanations to their heart's content.
To top the event, there was a first performance of a play by Kristien Pottie about the trials and tribulations of an EHS person. She received huge applause from the audience, who enjoyed her performance in a shielding canopy. It was filmed for all to watch later.
There were also a number of presentations on the smart meter in different countries, including Wallonia, Flanders, France and the Netherlands. The freest country turned out to be Wallonia, as everyone there is free to refuse the installation of a smart meter. The Netherlands is the second best, as refusal is accepted except when using district heating. In Flanders, one can be misled by a wired solution that however goes to a transmitter on the outside wall of the house.
The day ended with very relaxing classical music by flute and cello, with the raffle of many products made available by the suppliers as "a dessert". Finally, we are also happy to mention that Biologa is giving visitors to the event a 10% discount on its assortment by mentioning LERAT2025, valid until 31 July 2025.
