Telecom funded mobile phone brain tumor study shows no risks🔗

The international COSMOS study, initiated by the Karolinska Institute and Imperial College London, claims no link between long-term mobile phone use and brain tumour risk in over 250,000 users. The result is predictable due to the partiality of researchers and funding of the original research by Nordic telecom companies.

No budget in Switzerland to protect people’s health from dangerous phones?🔗

Seine-Port bans cell phones from public spaces🔗

The people of Seine-Port have decided, in a unique referendum, to restrict the use of mobile phones by residents and visitors in front of schools, on the street and in shops, public places and associations, due to the harmful effects of excessive screen time, especially for children. The activity encourages parents to limit screens at home as well.

Ministers confirm plan to ban use of mobile phones in schools in England🔗

Ministers have confirmed that mobile phones will be banned in English schools. Many schools already prohibit phone use during school hours to help students concentrate on their lessons and engage with their friends and teachers. Schools will be able to choose an approach to prohibiting mobile phones which suits them.
