{"id":1406,"date":"2022-01-10T13:40:25","date_gmt":"2022-01-10T11:40:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpcgh1a0h5.s5gec13u.uber.space\/?p=1406"},"modified":"2023-12-10T13:46:08","modified_gmt":"2023-12-10T12:46:08","slug":"aarhus-regulation-gets-stronger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esc-info.eu\/da\/aarhus-regulation-gets-stronger\/","title":{"rendered":"Aarhus Regulation gets stronger"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX%3A02006R1367-20211028\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aarhus Regulation<\/a>, which among other things provides for access to justice in environmental matters, has been updated to hopefully make it even easier to &#8220;strengthen the capacity of European civil society and the general public to scrutinise decisions affecting the environment&#8221;. Perhaps this will pave the way for better regulation of mobile communications in the environment?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreed amendment will improve the possibilities for the civil society to request that EU institutions review their acts with the aim to ensure better environmental protection and a more effective climate action. Environmental non-governmental organisations, as well as individuals whose rights are impaired will be able to ask for such scrutiny.
