Phonegate Alert criticizes WHO study on mobile phone risks🔗
The Phonegate alert calls for a robust and impartial review of the results of the recently published WHO study. Out of 5,379 studies, WHO retained only 63 studies for analysis. The conclusion that no risk of brain cancer is associated with mobile phone use raises questions about the methodology and impartiality of the study.
No budget in Switzerland to protect people’s health from dangerous phones?🔗
The Swiss Federal Council confirmed at the end of 2023 that there are no controls on non-compliant mobile phones in Switzerland regarding their health effects due to non-ionising radiation. Meanwhile, it rejected a proposal to allocate human and financial resources to monitor the market for wireless devices.
Withdrawal of the EMPORIA smart 4 from the French market🔗
Year 2024 begins with a new SAR exceedance notice for the EMPORIA smart 4 for the elderly, which was launched in 2021. Within a few weeks, the Austrian manufacturer was penalised twice in connection with the EMPORIA simplicity 4. There are now 46 models of cell phones, identified as dangerous to the health of users.
Phonegate Alert Ready to Take Legal Action against ANFR’s Failings🔗
French National Agency for Frequencies (ANFR) apparently failed to inform the EU about 42 cell phone models exceeding Specific Absorption Rate threshold. PhoneGate, our partner, has repeatedly contacted the agency for a response, but to no avail. Phonegate is ready to take legal action once again to seek liability of ANFR.
