At the end of 2025, ANSES concluded that "the available data do not allow us to conclude whether RF exposure has a carcinogenic effect on humans," which the media falsely transformed into ‘ANSES has just said that waves do not cause cancer’. Furthermore, ANFR decided to raise the threshold for RF exposure.

Children under 11 should not have a mobile phone. The use of smartphones with internet access should be banned for children under 13. Social media apps should be banned for all under-15s, and minors over 15 should only access "ethical" platforms, according to a report by an expert panel appointed by the French President.

The people of Seine-Port have decided, in a unique referendum, to restrict the use of mobile phones by residents and visitors in front of schools, on the street and in shops, public places and associations, due to the harmful effects of excessive screen time, especially for children. The activity encourages parents to limit screens at home as well.

The President of France announced at his press conference on Tuesday 16 January that the regulation of children's access to screens would be a priority. In March, an expert panel will give its opinion on how screens should be used in French children's homes and classrooms.

Michèle Rivasi has passed away

We are sorry to hear that Michèle Rivasi is no longer with us. She died suddenly at the age of 70 due to a heart attack on 29 of November. She has been a French Member of the EU Parliament in the Greens/European Free Alliance since 2009 and has been known for supporting many causes to protect public health and the environment.

French National Agency for Frequencies (ANFR) apparently failed to inform the EU about 42 cell phone models exceeding Specific Absorption Rate threshold. PhoneGate, our partner, has repeatedly contacted the agency for a response, but to no avail. Phonegate is ready to take legal action once again to seek liability of ANFR.
