The latest report on the number of new cancer cases in Denmark for 2023 shows that the number of central nervous system cancers, including brain tumours, is increasing in both men and women. The Swedish Radiation Protection Foundation confirms this increase based on data from the Danish Cancer Registry from 1995 to 2023.

The Phonegate alert calls for a robust and impartial review of the results of the recently published WHO study. Out of 5,379 studies, WHO retained only 63 studies for analysis. The conclusion that no risk of brain cancer is associated with mobile phone use raises questions about the methodology and impartiality of the study.

The senator and city mayor said his decision was based on neurology science research, that cell phone use decreases attention and learning efficiency. By September 2024, primary schools in Vsetín will be locking mobile phones in cloakrooms or special lockers so that children are not tempted to access them during breaks.

Italy has passed a law recognising the relationship between fibromyalgia and electrosensitivity🔗

In March 2024, a law on fibromyalgia and EHS was adopted by the Region of Calabria. The aim for the region is to provide a supportive service, and pending recognition of fibromyalgia and electrosensitivity at a national level, to promote the establishment of outpatient clinics dedicated to free screening.

France must curb child, teen use of smartphones, social media, says panel🔗

Children under 11 should not have a mobile phone. The use of smartphones with internet access should be banned for children under 13. Social media apps should be banned for all under-15s, and minors over 15 should only access "ethical" platforms, according to a report by an expert panel appointed by the French President.
