Feedback from Europeans for Safe Connections

We “Europeans for Safe Connections” suggest the following changes:

The topic 06 should contain another Detailed Topic (just after the Access to ICT):
Type of connection” with these Variable identifiers:

  • IACC_EHT
  • IACC_WIFI
  • IACC_LIFI
  • IACC_4G
  • IACC_5G

The topic 06, detailed topic “Barriers and problems to use” should contain additional Variable identifiers:

  • IUNUEP – Reasons for not using the internet in the last 3 months – respondent feels environmental responsibility, because internet connected devices create environmental pollution when designed, produced and distributed in many respects that cannot be compensated through the use of these devices.
  • BEC – Problems encountered with the connectivity – lack of ethernet connectivity or landline connectivity and lack of devices offering cabled internet connection.
