International Environmental Refuge for People with Central Sensitization - Project Dossier in Menorca

A Spanish woman with strong EHS and MCS symptoms, urgently searching for a safe place to live, finally found a natural oasis in Menorca without electromagnetic interference. This nature reserve is owned by the diocese of Menorca. She got a living place in a charitas building in this reserve.  

In deliberation with the diocese now she is starting the project “Menorca Environmental Refuge for People with Central Sensitization” . Under the condition of institutional support the refuge can  become available for other EHS and MCS individuals.  

The project plans to manage the refuge as a recovery site, medical care and exchanging knowledge. The refuge area Barranc d’Algendar offers, thanks to its geography, vegetation and microclimate, a unique environment with minimal exposures.
