Letter from Save Belgium to their supporters and sympathisers

Dear friends and sympathisers,

herewith we want to inform you about the result of our two radiation court cases against Belgium and the EU.

You will remember that back in 2021 Save Belgium and related groups started up two court cases: A civil case against the general radiation levels allowed by the Brussels and Flemish regions (in Belgium setting exposure limits is a regional competence) in Belgium and a case lodged with the Council of State against Flanders against their upscaled 5G exposure limits and regulations.

We lost both of these cases.

The civil judge refused to check radiation regulations against the Belgian constitution, EU law and the European Convention for Human Rights.

In a, frankly, nonsensical judgement the Council of State subsequently deemed every argument we made besides the point.

Next to Save Belgium, other groups also conducted similar court cases against the Walloon and Brussels regions for upscaling 5G limits and regulations in front of the Belgian Constitutional Court. The result of these case was essentially identical to ours: the judges dismissed every argument and everybody lost.

The conclusion we draw from all of this, is that Belgian judges are not, at this point, willing to take a stand in this matter except when it concerns personal liability cases, as with Stefano’s case in Turin.

We would like to conclude by thanking you for your sympathy and your support these past years.

As we don’t have the old mailinglists anymore to all the members of the CHD Europe radiation group and the 5G group in relation to the Citizen’s Initiative, please forward this mail to any other interested parties as you see fit.

With friendly regards,
The Save Belgium Team.

PS: Save Belgium is no longer active at this moment, but the various members of the team continue to work on wireless radiation issues in other settings.
