Request for an EU Regulation Explicitly Guaranteeing the Right to Analogue (Non-Digital) Access to Essential Services

ESC request that the EP urge the EC to propose a Regulation establishing an explicit and enforceable Right to Analogue Access for all EU citizens and residents, ensuring that no individual is compelled to use digital tools, smartphones, mobile apps, or mandatory digital identification systems in order to access essential public or private services.

Breaking news: Positive response from the EU Ombudsman: An investigation will be launched into the EU Commission’s handling of a report from our NGOs on health risks from wireless radiation

We have just received a letter from Teresa Anjinho, the European Ombudsman, that she has decided to launch a formal investigation. She will look into how the European Commission has handled concerns expressed by a group of NGOs about a scientific Opinion issued by the EU institution called SCHEER.

In Memoriam to Andrew Goldsworthy

We received a message from the family of Andrew Goldsworthy that he passed away on the 21st of May after suffering a heart attack at home. Andrew Goldsworthy graduated with honors in Botany and obtained a PhD from University College of Swansea.

EU Ombudsman Opens Inquiry into Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields Concern

On April 13, 2025, a formal complaint was submitted to the EU Ombudsman by Priartem (France), the Nordic groups and supported by ESC and several other NGOs. The reason for the complaint was a failure on the part of the EU Commission to address concerns over a scientific opinion on RF EMF from the SCHEER Committee.
