impact of modern communications and electricity use on health and the environment. We are not against technology, but we are pro safe technology and safe connections.

Radiation Measurements made at Conference Centre Lebensbogen

High frequency (celltowers, mobile phones, Wi-Fi) and low frequency (electrical equipment like sockets) measured outside and inside the houses: No significant low frequency measurable.

High frequency: from 0 to 25 microwatts/m2. The peaks of up to 25 microwatts occur outside once every 6 seconds for a hundredth of a second. The peaks are stronger outside than in the houses. On the higher floors, the peaks are higher than on the lower floors; this is probably the airport radar from the small airport Kassel-Calden, about 8 km away. There is a place intended for camping where the peaks reach a maximum of 10-20 microwatts. We found another, somewhat rocky site for a maximum of 15 tents, where the peaks are only a maximum of 4 microwatts/m2. Both sites for tents have good access to toilets and showers.

There are four houses with dormitories and rooms for conference, recreation, meditation and mattress camps:

The ones on the ground floor and the first floor have very low radiation levels: 0-4 microwatts/m (peaks of max. 4 microwatts/m), no low frequency. In the floors further up the radiation levels (only the peaks) go up a bit: 0-6,00 microwatts/square meter. Aso all conference rooms have very low peaks caused by the Airport Radar and no measurable low frequencies. There are a few conference rooms in the basement which are even lower in their peaks.

    Important information:

On Saturday and Sunday, the in-house café is open for public, which is very close to the main entrance. There will be some visitors/guests with cell phones, but mainly sitting on the terrace, which is a bit away from our areas. You will be able to avoid it very well.
